Frequently Asked Questions

What does the application process consist of?

Every applicant must fill out a RealChek application which you can print by clicking here; you can also obtain a copy at our office. Applications must be accompanied by a $35.00 (per applicant) check or money order made out to RealChek. Certain information will be returned to us including your credit report from TransUnion and a score from 1 to 10. This score is derived from your prior rental history and is based upon things such as court cases, late payments, unauthorized occupants or pets, complaints, or failure to keep the property in a clean and safe condition. A score of 5 or above is necessary to reside in any of our communities. A special scoring system is used for those who have no prior rental history.

How do I buy a home from Constine Communities?

The RealChek application is the first step in the process. Once you have passed RealChek and our sales manager has helped you find the right home, a purchase agreement is signed, and the financing process begins. Our sales manager will help you find financing if you do not already have a source for the necessary funds. After the financing is all set, you will “close” on the home and receive the keys to your new home.

Can I purchase a new custom home from Constine Communities?

Yes, we have many sizes, styles and manufacturers to choose from. We will be happy to assist you with this endeavor. Just stop in.

Can I move my home into a Constine community?

If you wish to move your manufactured home to one of our communities, contact our office to schedule an inspection. Our site manager will visit your home to ensure that it meets the standards required for our communities. Once you have passed inspection, you will pick out a site, fill out the appropriate forms, and pay the applicable security deposit. We can then move your home for you, or you can pick out another licensed home mover.
